The Wakefield Choral Society

The Wakefield Choral Society ("WCS") was founded in February of 1988 and was originally "The Wakefield Community Chorus."  Every year since then WCS has performed two annual concerts in various locations in Wakefield -- a Winter Holiday Concert (often in collaboration with The Middlesex Concert band, and  Wakefield High School's a cappella group Voices of Steel) and a Spring Concert.  WCS has also frequently and proudly participated in The Town of Wakefield's Veterans' Day ceremonies.

WCS is open to anyone who likes to sing-- auditions are not required. We perform a diverse repertoire including classical music, jazz, Broadway show tunes, traditional and spiritual hymns, etc.

For more information about joining WCS or about WCS performances, please contact: Judi Grogan, WCS president, by phone at (781) 620-1584.

WCS is a 501(c) (3) organization and our mission is to provide the opportunity for any person who enjoys music and likes singing to participate in a choral group.  Your kind support helps to ensure the continuation of our mission.

For more information about donating to WCS, please contact Judi Grogan, WCS president, at (781) 620-1584.
